We do NOT sell, promote or advocate the use of PROGESTERONE CREAM! We have used natural prescription progesterone during pregnancy as prescribed by our personal physicians.
NEED SOME ADVICE? Here's what we can offer!
We CAN NOT and WILL NOT give you medical advice. That is your health care provider’s job. This is an awareness and support site only. That being said, here are some suggestions we have:
1. Discuss any concerns you have with your health care provider. They are the experts. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. You are paying them to be an advocate for the lives of you and your baby. Part of what you are paying them for is to answer your questions.
2. Know where your doctor stands (and why) on prescribing progesterone supplements for low progesterone during pregnancy.
3. If you have any doubts in your mind or concerns that aren’t being answered, you can get a second opinion.
4. Because we feel this should be standard prenatal testing as soon as a woman knows she is pregnant, we suggest you get your progesterone level tested AS SOON as you find out you are pregnant. You may have to insist on this being done and your insurance company may not pay for it. Ask them ahead of time if they do.
5. Educate yourself on this issue. Read the stories posted on this web site, read information provided through the links we have posted and do research outside of the information provided on this site.
6. Dr. John Lee, who was considered an expert and international authority in the use of natural progesterone http://www.johnleemd.com/index.html, has given information on what forms of progesterone and testing are effective.
Disclaimer: We are not medical professionals. This website is for information purposes only and is not a prescription for your particular needs. Consult with your health care professional if in doubt or if you have questions. We do not try to overrule the advice of your health care professional and can only say that if you question your doctor, you need to get a second opinion.
